We found out this past week that our new mission president, President Amoreen (I don’t know how to spell it) will no longer be our new mission president. He has been reassigned to Portugal because of health reasons and with the amount of traveling he has to do here it would be impossible because he needs to be by good hospitals and there is only one good hospital which is in Maputo. So if he were anywhere else he would be in trouble. Our new mission president is called Joni Koch. He is also from Brazil and was originally called to serve in Portugal, so all they really did is switch callings. He will still be getting here on July 1st and we are all pretty excited. We heard some good things about President Koch from the Castro Deus couple who are the senior couple up here in Beira. They both knew him from before as well and said he is a very Christlike man. Other than that there isn’t any new happenings. We will be spending a big chunk of our time preparing for the weddings this week. I will be sure to send pictures next week of it.
Love you all.
Photos of the week – (Sorry but Elder Keck isn’t what you’d call super descriptive in his emails and his labeling of photos is about the same. I’ve done the best I can with what I have to work with… Brad)
