Lamest Week on the Mission

This week has been the least eventful week on my mission so far. Tuesday was a regular day of work until about 16h when we get a call from President Kretly telling us that he’s gonna be stopping in Quelimane and giving a surprise leadership training to the missionaries and the ward leaders. So Elder Sip and I quickly taught our two lessons we had marked, ran home and made sure the chapel was already for president and sister Kretly to give the training. The training was really good and President gave us some ideas about how to help the branch here in Quelimane more.

Then Wednesday he took Elder Sip and I to go buy a pump because we hadn’t had water for about a week and a half in our house so we’d been taking bucket showers, and flushing the toilets with buckets and things like that. Anyways president takes us to buy the pump and then hires a plumber to come fix all the water problems in our house. Well the plumber started Wednesday and took all day Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. He also is coming back today or tomorrow to do more and we can’t leave the house while he is here because he is working in our bedroom and its sucked.

This Saturday Pablo and Zainabu are getting married and baptized and we are really excited about that. I’ll be sure to send pictures home the next Monday. Love you all.
